Nov 10, 2026 · 5 min

The list isn't the problem. Where it lives is.

When there's too much to do, the list in your head becomes a weight you carry everywhere. A brain dump gets it out where you can see it. The catch is that we think of things in the car, getting ready in the morning, or lying in bed, never when there's a pen in hand. That's where AI comes in.

Your tiny win before Friday

Try this this week.

  1. Open an AI app on your phone. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, whichever one you already have. The free version works fine.
  2. Tap the microphone and just talk. Everything that needs to get done, what hasn't gotten done, and what's still weighing on you. Unfiltered. More of a pen-and-paper person? Write it out, snap a picture, and give the picture to the AI.
  3. When you're done, paste or say the words below.
  4. Pick one of the three. Just one. Do that first tiny step before Friday.
The prompt

Sort everything I just said into three lists: must do this week, can wait, and can hand off or drop. Then pick the three that matter most, and give me the very first tiny step for each one.

A quick safety note: keep it to what's on your mind. Don't say passwords, account numbers, or anybody else's private business into it. You don't need to.

Turn it up a notch

Brain dump all day long.

You don't have to dump it all at once. Start a chat with the words below, then keep talking into that same chat: in the car, between meetings, in line at the pharmacy. When you're ready, use the sorting words from step three.

The prompt to start your chat

I'm going to brain dump all day. Just collect everything I send you. Don't sort it or do anything with it until I say I'm done.

Something to sit with

What's one thing on your list that you've been carrying around that you could actually just drop?

I'd love to hear what landed on your "drop it" list. And if you'd like AI to help your whole business like this, not just your Tuesday, let's talk. The brainstorm is free, 30 minutes, no pressure. Just ideas.

It's eleven o'clock at night. You're finally in bed.

Your body is so ready. You're getting cozy, you're relaxing... you can feel how tired you are. And for a couple of seconds you think, okay. I think I can fall asleep now.

And then your brain switches back on.

The meeting with the new client tomorrow. The utility bill. That conference coming up... and you still haven't booked a hotel. Rent.

Oh. And that email. The one you meant to answer. You just remembered it. Right now. While you're getting cozy.

And underneath all of it, the big one. Am I making enough to cover next month?

Sound familiar?

What if two minutes could get all of that out of your head, and sorted into three short lists? And you don't even have to type.

Stick with me. I'll show you exactly how, and you can try it before Friday.

Hello

Hi, I'm Carie, and this is Tiny Wins with AI. Episode one!

Here's how this works. Once a week, about five minutes. I pick one AI thing that's actually worth your time, I explain it in plain English, and I hand you one tiny win to try before Friday.

That's it. No jargon. No hype. No forty-step tutorials.

The real problem

So, a little about me. I'm an ICF-certified life coach. For two years, I coached people on people pleasing and boundaries.

I've mostly retired the coaching side of my career... but my kids didn't get the memo.

And you know the number one thing they come to me with? A list. A long list of things they have to do. And they're so overwhelmed by it that it just... paralyzes them. They don't know what to do first.

And it's not just my kids. It happens at work. It happens to me.

Here's the thing. The problem isn't the list. The problem is that the list is in your head. You have to take that mess out, and put it somewhere you can see it.

Whenever my coaching clients got stuck like this, I told them to do a brain dump. You've heard of it, right? You write down everything that's in your head. All of it. On paper.

But here's the catch. When do most of us actually brain dump? In the car. Getting ready in the morning. Lying in bed at night. Never when there's a pen and paper in front of us.

That's where AI comes in handy.

Your tiny win before Friday

So here's your tiny win for this week. I call it the two-minute brain dump.

Step one. Grab your phone and open an AI app. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, whichever one you already have. The free version works fine.

Step two. Tap the microphone and just talk. Unfiltered. No judgment. Spew it all out. What needs to get done. What hasn't gotten done. What's still weighing on you.

More of a pen and paper person? Write it out, snap a picture, and give the picture to the AI. Same thing.

Step three. When you're done, say this. And I'll put the exact words in the show notes.

"Sort everything I just said into three lists: must do this week, can wait, and can hand off or drop. Then pick the three that matter most, and give me the very first tiny step for each one."

Then let the AI do the work. That pile in your head is suddenly three short lists on your screen.

Step four. Pick one of those three. Just one. And do that first tiny step before Friday.

That's your tiny win.

One quick safety note, because I care about you. Keep it to what's on your mind. Don't say passwords, account numbers, or anybody else's private business into it. You don't need to.

Turn it up a notch

Now, for those of you who want to take it a step further, here's how to turn this up a notch.

You don't have to dump it all at once. Start your chat by saying, "I'm going to brain dump all day. Just collect everything I send you. Don't sort it or do anything with it until I say I'm done."

Then keep talking into that same chat. In the car. Between meetings. In line at the pharmacy. And when you're ready, say the sorting words from step three.

Wrap-up
